Passage: Revelation 3:14-22       Series UPGRADE
Description: This Sunday we will unpack what Jesus had to say to the church at Laodicea. When we breakdown what Jesus is saying to the believers in this church, we find that Jesus is gauging their level of commitment to Him. It's a scary thought; and yet, we know that the Lord searches and knows our hearts and our level of commitment as well. This Sunday we will look for ways that we can upgrade the level of commitment to the Lord in our hearts.-

Passage: Revelation 1:9-20       Series UPGRADE
Description: This Sunday we will launch a new sermon series on the book of Revelation. The purpose of the Book of Revelation is to upgrade our faith in Jesus and give us a clear picture of our future. This is why John writes in Revelation 1:3, "Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." This Sunday we will watch as John upgrades our view of Jesus by showing us His true power and might.

Passage: 1 John 4:8-9       Series Christmas in 4 Words
Description: This Sunday we will wrap up our Christmas sermon series focusing on the reason that Jesus stepped into our world in the first place. In 1 John 4:9 we are told, " This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. " So as we look at the Christmas Story, what we see is God's Great Love for all of us. What we will learn is that the Christmas story tells you and me that "God loves us!" No big surprise, right? But our hope this Sunday is that we will let those words sink-in deep; that a Savior has been born to us.

Passage: Luke 2:8-14       Series Christmas in 4 Words
Description: This Sunday we will focus on the message of the angel to the shepherds on the night that Jesus was born. The angel proclaims in Luke 2:14, "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests." The birth of Jesus ushered in an opportunity for peace between God and us. What we will discover is that our sin puts enmity between the two of us, and yet, when Jesus died for our sins, the veil in the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom, signifying that we have an opportunity of peace with God. This Sunday we will unpack why Jesus really is the "Prince of Peace."

Passage: Luke 2:8-20       Series Christmas in 4 Words
Description: This Sunday we will focus on the message of the angels to the shepherds out in the field. The angel announced to the shepherds in Luke 2:10, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people." It seems that so many times, we approach our life with Christ in despair and gloom. Why is it that we sometimes look beaten down by life? This Sunday we will discuss how the birth of Jesus should cause us to live this life with joy and gladness. So join us this Sunday as we unpack the Joy of Christmas.

Passage: Luke 2:1-7       Series Christmas in 4 Words
Description: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. But as much as we think of Christmas in terms of lights, tinsel, and gifts, I wonder, how we would describe Christmas to someone who has never heard? Over the next four weeks, we will look at the 4 words that truly describe Christmas. This Sunday we will look at Luke chapter two and see hope come alive as Jesus makes his grand entrance. I like the words that Luke chooses to describe the time before Jesus in Luke 2:1, " In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world." Praise the Lord we don't live in "those days" anymore; we have the hope of new life that is found only in Jesus. So join us this Sunday as we begin this new series.
