Passage: Matthew 19:16-30       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will close out our sermon series in Matthew on the Kingdom of Heaven. We will look at Matthew 19 and unpack what it means to follow the King. You see the incredible thing about any Kingdom is that there is a king to follow; without a king there is no kingdom. We will learn that we, as believers in Christ, serve the King of Kings. We follow no other king, so this Sunday we will discover what it truly means to follow the King.

Passage: Matthew 16:13       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will celebrate 112 years of building God's Kingdom in the hearts and lives of countless people. We will unpack a well-known passage of scripture from Matthew, where Jesus asks an important question. Jesus asks, "Who do you say I am?" This question is one that all of us will have to answer. What we will discover is that the Kingdom is built and established in the hearts of people who make Jesus their Lord and Savior. The church is built on Jesus and the truth of who He is. This Sunday make plans to celebrate with us as we marvel at what Christ is building here.

Passage: Matthew 10       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will continue our sermon series in the Book of Matthew. We will highlight the importance for kingdom workers to announce the good news of the gospel. Jesus tells His disciples in Matthew 10:27, "What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." We are called to communicate to others the story of Jesus Christ.

Passage: Matthew 6:33       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will embark on a new sermon series centered on the book of Matthew. Matthew uses the phrase "Kingdom of heaven" 32 times and is a central theme woven through the book. Over the next four weeks, we will uncover that we need to seek first the Kingdom, proclaim the kingdom, build the kingdom, and follow the King. So join us each Sunday in October as we highlight the Kingdom of God.

Passage: Acts 10       Series Thunderstruck
Description: This Sunday we will wrap up our sermon series by highlighting God's incredible love for all people. In Acts 10 Peter is called to take the message of the gospel to an unlikely group of people. Peter discovers the breadth of God's love as the Lord pours out His Spirit on a household of gentiles. Peter is so thunderstruck by the scene that he says in Acts 10:34-35, "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right." We will learn that God's extraordinary love is for all people, and the thought of this reality should leave us in breathless wonderment of our Lord and Savior.

Passage: Exodus 19-20       Series Thunderstruck
Description: Have you ever been stunned, shocked, or thunderstruck by the power of God? This Sunday we will begin a brand new sermon series focusing on God's power and awesome presence. We will highlight Isaiah's call as he experiences God's presence in the temple. We will watch the love of God dumbfound the people at Pentecost and call them to repentance. And this Sunday, we will have a ringside seat as God displays His mighty power to Moses and the Israelites at Mount Sinai. Our hope is that, through this sermon series, we will be in awe of God's incredible power and sovereignty.

Passage: Genesis 45       Series Genesis: The Spoken Word
Description: This Sunday we will draw our sermon series on Genesis to a close by looking at the story of Joseph. Joseph's story begins as one of tragedy, but it ends with a beautiful picture of restoration. This Sunday we will discover that our words have the power to restore by speaking forgiveness and grace into the hearts of others. Ultimately we will learn that our God specializes in restoration projects as He restores our broken lives back into a relationship with Him.

Passage: Genesis 12       Series Genesis: The Spoken Word
Description: I trust you all are doing well with your homework this week and that you have been speaking life into the lives of others. This Sunday we will watch as God speaks life into Abram and calls him to a distant land and in many ways into ministry. The Lord tells Abram in Genesis 12:3, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." In this week's sermon, we will spotlight Abram's call to be a blessing to others. What we will discover is that we have the same call, and we have the opportunity to be a blessing through the words that we speak.

Passage: Genesis 3       Series Genesis: The Spoken Word
Description: This Sunday we will continue our discussion on the power of the spoken word, and we will focus on the power that our words have to destroy. In Genesis 3 we get a ringside seat into the conversation between Satan and Eve. In this dialogue Satan begins to speak death into both Adam and Eve. If we are not careful, we can do the same thing and speak death into the lives of others or even into our own lives. We will learn how to drown out these negative messages of the enemy by being content with where we are, focusing on God's Word, and by not giving an ear to the destructive messages that the enemy tries to speak into our lives.

Passage: Genesis 1       Series Genesis: The Spoken Word
Description: Words have the power to create, and they have the power to destroy. With just the spoken word, God created the heavens and the earth. The book of Genesis introduces us to our creator, it answers the question of who and why we were created; and the responsibility that has been given to us. In this series we will explore the responsibility that the Lord has given us to carefully choose our words. This Sunday we will look at the power that our words have to create certain elements within us - elements such as hope, joy, and life. So join us Sunday as we launch this exciting new sermon series.
