Full Life: Brotherly Kindness

2 Peter 1:5 by Art Stansberry
Series:Full Life

The Apostle Peter writes, "For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith . . . brotherly kindness." The literal Greek word that he uses in this passage for brotherly kindness is Philadelphia, from which we know is the city of brotherly love. This Sunday we will learn how we can develop this extremely important quality by studying the Apostle Peter's earlier letter. In 1 Peter 3:8 he writes, "Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble." What we will discover is that in order to develop brotherly kindness, we need to focus on unity, sympathy, love, compassion, and humility. Join us this Sunday as we study what it means to add to our faith brotherly kindness and how this can impact not only our faith, but the potential faith of others.
