Passage: John 3       Series Grace Changes Everything
Description: This Sunday we will look at John 3 and witness the face of God extended to Nicodemus, a Pharisee. What we will learn is that grace changes our religion to relationship and makes what was once a cold and mundane experience, into an experience with God that changes our lives.

Passage: John 2       Series Grace Changes Everything
Description: This Sunday we will begin a new sermon series centered on God's marvelous grace. God's grace, His undeserved favor, changes everything for us. Pride can now be changed to humility. Religion can now be replaced with relationship. Even something as seemingly permanent as death can be changed to life. God's matchless grace changes everything. This Sunday, as we launch this four part sermon series, we will look at John chapter two and learn that God has the power to turn despair into hope. So join us this Sunday as we unpack how grace changes everything.

Passage: Matthew 28:19-20       Series Mission
Description: This Sunday we will close out our sermon series looking closely at the great commission. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus commands us to "Go and make disciples," which is a call to duplicate ourselves spiritually. What we will discover is that the discipleship process includes leading people to Christ and guiding them in their walk with Christ. Ultimately, we will see that this mission of discipleship has no end, but is continuous and eternal.

Passage: Matthew 22:39-40       Series Mission
Description: This past Sunday we started a new sermon series, focusing on the mission Christ has given to all His followers. We find this mission tucked away in the two Greatest Commandments and the Great Commission. This Sunday we will highlight the second part of the mission, which is to love people. Jesus said in Matthew 22:39, " . . . Love your neighbor as yourself." This is a tall order. So how do we complete this part of the mission? What we will discover this Sunday is that real love is supernatural and first requires a relationship with the Lord; we will also learn that real love is sacrificial; and, finally, we will find out that real love shines bright in a dark world. So join us this Sunday as, together, we learn how to love people.

Passage: Matthew 22:34       Series Mission
Description: We will be launching out into a new series this Sunday entitled, "Mission." Over the next three weeks, we will highlight the mission that we are to be on as followers of Christ. In Matthew 22:34-40, we see Jesus zero-in on the two most important tasks that we can undertake: loving God and loving people. This Sunday we will look at the importance of loving God and what it means to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind.
Date: Sunday, May 22, 2016       Teacher: Jay Wright     Duration: 17 mins 53 secs
Passage: Luke 15:11-20       Series Give Me One
Description: Jay Wright, Elder and long-time member, will be preaching this Sunday! (Art will be at Antioch Christian Church preaching at their Homecoming Service.) In last Sunday's sermon, Art spoke about the parables of the lost sheep (1 out of 99) and the lost coin (1 out of 10). Jay will pick up with the parable of the prodigal son (1 out of 2) - and how the "older brother" was affected by his younger brother's return.

Passage: Luke 15:1-10       Series Give Me One
Description: This past Sunday we discussed how Jesus died for everyone. This Sunday we will discover how Jesus was willing to reach anyone; especially those that were on the outside looking in. He encountered one such person while at a well in the region of Samaria. This woman had long been written off by the religious leaders and even people in her own village. But J esus tells this woman in John 4:13-14, "Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life." What we will learn this Sunday is that anyone can come to Christ and never be spiritually thirsty again.
Date: Sunday, May 08, 2016       Teacher: Rajan Ipe
Description: We are really excited to have Rajan Ipe and his wife Reni from Kerala Christian Mission join us this Sunday. Rajan is not just a missionary, but, in our minds, he is family - a Mount Carmel Minister serving in Kerala, India. Rajan will be bringing us the Word this week and we look forward to hearing what God has in store for us through him.

Passage: John 3:1-21       Series Give Me One
Description: This Sunday we will launch out on a new sermon series that we are calling, "Give Me One." In this sermon series, we will explore just who this "One" is that we are supposed to reach. What we will discover is that the Lord wants to reach everyone. Jesus clearly tells us that the Father has made a way for everyone to come to Him. Look at what Jesus tells Nicodemus in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Unfortunately, we understand that the reality is that not everyone will accept Christ, but we have directive to reach anyone we can for the Lord. This is why we pray for one, hoping, watching, and waiting for an opportunity to reach someone. So join us this Sunday as we learn how to reach one.
