Date: Sunday, November 20, 2016       Teacher: Art Stansberry     Duration: 34 mins 11 secs
Description: Jesus tells us not to be anxious about the needs of this world. He says in Matthew 6:31-32, "So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things." Money worries ruin families, divide friendships, and can lead to health problems. Jesus says that our focus should not be on "all these things," but our hearts should be on Kingdom things. He says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness" - AND all these things will be given to you as well. What we will discover is that as we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness . . . we will value what God values; we will want what God wants; and we will do what God does.

Description: This Sunday we will unpack the freedom we have in giving. I know that statement sounds odd, but God allows us to freely choose how we will give. What we will discover is that percentage-based giving is the better choice. Percentage-based giving is practical, biblical, and worshipful. What we will ultimately learn is that we have freedom in giving; we are free to partner with God in ministry and free to follow God's design in how to best give.

Passage: Luke 12:13-21       Series YOU CAN'T SAY THAT IN CHURCH!
Description: So what is your magic number? How much money do you need to make all your problems go away? I think all of us at some point in time have thought about that "magic number." This Sunday we will look at Jesus' parable of the rich fool who hit that magic number and yet it still did not solve his problems. Money, jobs, and fortunes are fleeting. What we will uncover is that we can put our trust in money or we can put our trust in God, but we can't do both. Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." So join us this Sunday as we discover that while we can't serve both, we can use our money to serve God.

Passage: Mark 12:41-44       Series YOU CAN'T SAY THAT IN CHURCH!
Description: November is generally the month where we focus on stewardship and giving in the church. I get it . . . not a popular subject, but it is an important part of ministry. In fact, Jesus deemed this subject so important that almost half of His parables were centered on money. To Jesus, our bank accounts tell a story. They tell the story about our faith, our trust, and our willingness to be used by God to impact lives. This Sunday we will unpack what it really means to be stewards of God's money.

Passage: Matthew 19:16-30       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will close out our sermon series in Matthew on the Kingdom of Heaven. We will look at Matthew 19 and unpack what it means to follow the King. You see the incredible thing about any Kingdom is that there is a king to follow; without a king there is no kingdom. We will learn that we, as believers in Christ, serve the King of Kings. We follow no other king, so this Sunday we will discover what it truly means to follow the King.

Passage: Matthew 16:13       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will celebrate 112 years of building God's Kingdom in the hearts and lives of countless people. We will unpack a well-known passage of scripture from Matthew, where Jesus asks an important question. Jesus asks, "Who do you say I am?" This question is one that all of us will have to answer. What we will discover is that the Kingdom is built and established in the hearts of people who make Jesus their Lord and Savior. The church is built on Jesus and the truth of who He is. This Sunday make plans to celebrate with us as we marvel at what Christ is building here.

Passage: Matthew 10       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will continue our sermon series in the Book of Matthew. We will highlight the importance for kingdom workers to announce the good news of the gospel. Jesus tells His disciples in Matthew 10:27, "What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." We are called to communicate to others the story of Jesus Christ.

Passage: Matthew 6:33       Series Kingdom Come
Description: This Sunday we will embark on a new sermon series centered on the book of Matthew. Matthew uses the phrase "Kingdom of heaven" 32 times and is a central theme woven through the book. Over the next four weeks, we will uncover that we need to seek first the Kingdom, proclaim the kingdom, build the kingdom, and follow the King. So join us each Sunday in October as we highlight the Kingdom of God.
Date: Sunday, September 25, 2016       Teacher: Art Stansberry     Duration: 27 mins 46 secs
Passage: Acts 10       Series Thunderstruck
Description: This Sunday we will wrap up our sermon series by highlighting God's incredible love for all people. In Acts 10 Peter is called to take the message of the gospel to an unlikely group of people. Peter discovers the breadth of God's love as the Lord pours out His Spirit on a household of gentiles. Peter is so thunderstruck by the scene that he says in Acts 10:34-35, "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right." We will learn that God's extraordinary love is for all people, and the thought of this reality should leave us in breathless wonderment of our Lord and Savior.

Passage: Exodus 19-20       Series Thunderstruck
Description: Have you ever been stunned, shocked, or thunderstruck by the power of God? This Sunday we will begin a brand new sermon series focusing on God's power and awesome presence. We will highlight Isaiah's call as he experiences God's presence in the temple. We will watch the love of God dumbfound the people at Pentecost and call them to repentance. And this Sunday, we will have a ringside seat as God displays His mighty power to Moses and the Israelites at Mount Sinai. Our hope is that, through this sermon series, we will be in awe of God's incredible power and sovereignty.
